The study initially conducted a methodical analysis of the microwave chamber and its auxiliary attachments. Ībstract-This study presents an optimized design of a PLC- based microwave vacuum dryer which was used to conduct preliminary investigation of the effects of drying parameters on the drying kinetics of rice bran. The papers have been studied for designing a dual band antenna to obtain good results.

For the designing of rectangular microstrip antenna, the following relationships are used to calculate the dimensions of rectangular microstrip patch antenna. Antenna is designed for a resonating frequency of 5.5 GHz and 6.4 GHz and is analyzed using CST Microwave Studio software. In this design we have used a defected ground structure which gives the good resonance. In this work, microstrip line (50 ohm) feed has been used. Microstrip patch antenna can be fed by different methods like microstrip line feed, coaxial probe feed, aperture coupling, electromagnetic coupling and coplanar waveguide (CPW).
The main concept behind the designed structure is to implement DGS structure to reduce the antenna size and to enhance the bandwidth of the antenna. Edges along the width are called radiating edges and that along the length are called non radiating edges. The ground has been reduced from all the sides with a pie ( ) at the centre of the ground.
